Kasco De-Icers circulate water to melt ice and prevent it in your boat’s slip during winter
De-Icers can be hung from a vessel, dock or other flotation device and positioned to move warmer water from a deeper channel to the shallower area where your boat is moored. This helps to protect your boat and dock from lifting damage due to “ice jacking” and the shearing and crushing damage caused by ice expansion.
Store boat and dock in the water all winter – provides excellent aeration for winter months.
It’s easy to use. Just insert one of the included extension tubes into your engine’s dipstick tube, attach extraction tubes and give the cylinder up to 15 pumps – and watch the cylinder fill up!
